When Santander refused to extend my mortage because my house was on the market and subsequently refused again after my house sale fell through, because I was over 70, I was left in a stressful situation as they also threatened litigation. Thankfully Sterling and Law stepped in, put my mind at rest and was able to introduce me to an alternative lender who was prepared to lend to someone in my circumstances.
