One of the biggest mistakes of my professional career was joining Stonebridge. The senior management only have their interests at heart, not yours. They don’t support their AR firms when needed which had a catastrophic impact on my business. A lender panel removal was not investigated or appealed despite no evidence being provided. To compound matters Stonebridge then terminated my AR agreement on the back of the lenders unsubstantiated hearsay.

There are over 30 mortgage networks, as well as the option to be directly authorised.

I strongly recommend you carry out your own due diligence and I will for the remainder of my career advise colleagues and industry professionals to avoid Stonebridge at all costs.

This firm really does nothing apart from give you access to mortgage lenders. They provide minimal support and their CRM /sourcing system is falling behind the times. There are much better options available elsewhere. When you hand in your notice to leave, they will try to make your life difficult by holding commission for long periods of time. I hope I never have to deal with Stonebridge ever again

**UPDATE** Stonebridge have now told me that they will only pay my commission straight away if I remove this review. Think very carefully if you plan to join this network.

I am very disappointed from their services, especially Scott Lidbetter from start financial services ! If there is an option for minus ⭐️ I would give them -5 stars ⭐️!
He lied to me that he had submitted my full application, and I lost the low mortgage rate. Something more I gave him the opportunity to deal with our residential mortgage, and he made lots of mistakes ,I had to deal with the lender to secure my mortgage offer. Otherwise, I would have lost it, too !
They took the commissions from both lenders , but now I am paying double BTL mortgage rates. Their partner company , Stonebridge, prolonged the investigation to my complaint almost 6 months with no resolution. Now we have to deal with the ombudsman.
