Streetwise was meant to man a 5 way traffic control by hebden bridge. They did not and the result was a 45 minute 5 way traffic jam as the people who were meant to be on site were not there to change the lights.

When myself and many others of the public called to ask when a member of staff would attend, the caller said he didn't know and could not provide at ETA.

I will be writing to the local council about this but this was terrible service and resulted in terrible traffic.

I have to say a big thank you to Jonny and Dean who helped me when I broke down in Hebden Bridge, yes really bad place to break down in!! Both these guys from Steeetwise went over and above to help me whilst the pick up truck cane to collect me. Well done guys, you do a difficult job and keep calm whilst getting abuse from passing motorists....you are top class, well done.

Yesterday l broke down right at the end of the road works on Stanningley road Pudsey. There was a guy watching the traffic called Johnny who could not have been more helpful. He came a number of times to check l was ok, he got a couple of guys to push my car out of the traffic ( l could not believe how many people kept blowing their horn at me , as if l had just “ parked” ) and having waited 2 hrs for recovery who sent a man with a van and not a recovery truck as l had requested was starting to feel desperate as he said it would be another 2 hrs for the recovery truck would come.
Jonny went asked a garage which l didn’t know was there to help me. He showed me the garage and his help was so appreciated. He was a lovely jolly man and helped me not feel alone or panicky. Often as an older person you get ignored but l can not thank this man enough, he was a credit-to your company and would be great full if you passed my sincere thanks on to him. I went back today to thank him but he was at a different venue.
