Stay Away from Teledyne Shipley

I worked at Teledyne Shipley and had one of the worst experiences of my career. The culture is toxic, and it’s clear that management is incapable of effectively leading a team.

Management Issues: The supervisors and managers are not only unintelligent but also dismissive of employee concerns. Their lack of capability creates an environment where staff are left to fend for themselves, leading to inefficiencies and constant frustration.

Toxic Work Environment: The atmosphere is unfriendly, with many employees displaying aggressive behaviour. It feels more like a hostile environment than a workplace. If you’re not a "yes man," you won’t fit in and will be made to feel unwelcome. This culture of bullying is rampant, and those who speak out are often silenced or ostracised.

Lack of Support: The management mishandles products with no care or attention, leading to significant operational issues. Coupled with low pay, it’s clear that this company doesn’t value its employees. Promotions are handed out based on who can flatter management the best rather than on merit, and even then, there's often no accompanying pay rise.
