So these people Tenant Letting Check who, by the way are part of Sequence who, by the way are Fox and Sons carried out checks on a tenant who subsequently turned out to be a con artist who lived rent free in our property for over a year!!! Tenant Letting Check will never uncover fraudulent references if the only checks they do are by email, don't fully Check employers references or addresses or bank accounts. They claim to be 1 of the most comprehensive Tenant checks in the industry but this can not surely be true if they just whack out a few emails. This man easily slipped through their very holey net and we never stood a chance!!!

This company completely undermined my Tenancy application, me and my husband had a horrible experience dealing with them..
They passed on completely different information about our earnings to the lettings agency, compared what WE KNOW our employer provided.
It was confirmed to us by my husband’s employer several times that they provided his correct gross income which is way above the minimum amount we are required to earn for the rental property we were looking to get.
Tenant Letting Check repeatedly provided the lettings agents with false reports on our income and as a result we received numerous condescending phone calls from our agent about requiring a guarantor, despite the fact that we have proof of income in the form of bank statements and payslips.
There’s also the very disturbing issue of my employer receiving a form to confirm my employment for the next 12 months, despite the fact that I was only asked about my plans for the following 3 months...

Coming to UK from abroad? Good luck! They have no experience in dealing with internationals moving to UK. Impossible to work with, unless you have documents showing you already live in UK, thus creating an unsolvable paradox... Utter joke

Biggest piss take. Process everything slowly, long the process out longer than it should take. Stress you out for no reason even with the correct information. They are terrible at their job. May I also add, that they never pick up the phone even though they ask us to call them. They say "leave your name, number and reference, we will get back to you" but never do. Absolutely terrible.
