After attempting unsucessfully, many times, to obtain insurance for my car to be driven by my daughter and son in law for one month only. I was directed to BIBA.! What a difference they made.....the BIBA agent took details and immediately reassured me that all would be possible and it was, just as he promised Now I await their arrival and will be happy to see them drive my car while they enjoy their Holiday.

Insurers refused to renew household policy due to tree roots damaging a concrete base and subsequently causing subsidence.
I phoned various other Companies but received a no when subsidence was mentioned. I was advised to try BIBA. What a relief, within 5 minutes they put me in touch with and Insurance Company who would insure our home with a subsidence exclusion. The premium was higher but not excessive. The cover was the standard Home insurance apart from the exclusion so I was delighted to accept. It may take some time for the subsidence to be repaired. Meanwhile we are covered. What a relief.

My own insurers could not quote on my house that I am selling having moved into out new home. My insurers suggested to contact BIBA who were excellent. They took down all details and said that they would contact a number of brokers and within 24 hours came back with details of insurers where I was able to insure my property. I was looking for land insurance for 9 acres. My house insurers couldn't help and I started phoning a local broker and NFU. Several attempts later neither could cover me but NFU gave me the number for BIBA. What a revelation! They answered the phone! The person took some information and said he would find me the right insurance company and put me through. Which he did. The insurance company was perfect for me and I bought my policy there and then.
I was utterly amazed that you could get such a fantastic service. Really fast, efficient, tailored, friendly, that never happens with any calls these days.

Quick and helpful advice:
Our small town was given a library building in 1902, but it was then transferred to our county council in 1962. The county council no longer wants to own the building; we are hoping that they will transfer it to a trust we have set up for the purpose. We were in difficulty trying to arrange building insurance for the building as it is presently unoccupied and in poor internal repair - my own insurers declined to quote. We contacted BIBA who were very helpful - listened, asked sensible questions, and then put us in touch with a broker who found a firm who would quote, all within 24 hours.

I was very happy with my recent experience when I contacted the British Insurance Brokers' Association who managed to save me a whopping £188 on travel insurance for a one-week trip to Morocco by putting me in touch with an alternative broker. Because of a couple of medical conditions, I always expect to have to pay more for travel insurance; but the £322 I was originally quoted by the broker I normally use seemed ridiculous. Which is why I approached BIBA who directed me to AllClear Travel Insurance who quoted me a price of £134. I'm more than happy to recommend BIBA to travellers, particularly those with medical conditions, experiencing difficulties even finding a broker prepared to offer any insurance cover - let alone at a reasonable/competitive price.

My travel insurers mentioned this service in my renewal documents and I found BIBA swift and efficient in finding me a broker, Avanti, whose representative was knowledgeable, listened well and used common sense to give a quote that I took up later that day.

The only downside was having to complete the deal with someone from Staysure whom I sacked early in 2023 for being repetitive and bureaucratic. Surely this link should have been disclosed by you or Avanti?

My brother lives in a property which is owned by a Trust, established under advice by my now deceased Mother. It is very difficult to find an insurer for Trust owned properties & the complexity of my case was compounded by the fact that one of the Trustees - a Solicitor firm - went into Administration recently. It was suggested I call BIBA. I did this & within minutes, I was put in touch with a potential insurer who are about to take the house on an insured risk.
I was very impressed with the BIBA employee who referred my case & I really cannot thank him/them enough.
