I spoke with Matt at The Money Hub as I am in a frustrating position. I have equity in my property which I wanted to use for a specific purpose (all totally legal!!) but was informed in the most lofty and patronising manner by Brittania/Co op, my current provider, that they would not do this. With my current fixed rate ending and co-inciding with a rise in base rate, I decided it was time to change things up to a package with suited me as an individual. Speaking with Matt, I was understood, advised and guided way beyond my expectations, with none of the eager, pushy responses which an enquiry like mine often receives. Matt was interested in my individual situation and he put a great deal of effort into suggesting various options for me, also being honest about which avenues were probably closed to me and why. No pushiness, just an outstanding knowledge of the market, and which products/options might work best for me. It was no surprise to learn he runs a family-based company and the difference between Matt's manner and knowledge, compared to the target-driven relentless "advisors" out there, made me feel re-assured and in a safe pair of hands. Like many people, my home is my only major asset and I cannot risk being mis-guided or mis-informed by a less experienced and less ethical person. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Matt 110% and thank him sincerely for his support.
