If i could score this less, then i would as mentioned below. My daughter submitted a claim back in April and we are still waiting for the response. They keep asking me for the same information which I have submitted via email and over the phone. They have the worst response time, someone tells you that they will call you back and they dont you have to chase. Im still waiting for my claim to be processed. I have now decided to report them to The Financial Ombudsman Service because im tired of fighting with the providing the same information. They say one thing and do another. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!!!! WORST !!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! our flight was cancelled by Easyjet due to French Air traffic control back in May at the boarding gate. Despite having supplied all information several times and making umpteen phonecalls we are still being fobbed off, 6 months later!!!. We even supplied TIF with copies of the boarding passes that we were given at the boarding gate before the flight was cancelled at 10.30pm with no alternative flight available for several days. If this is how they deal with this kind of claim WOULD YOU REALLY WANT TO RELY ON THEM IF SOMETHING SERIOUS WENT WRONG ON YOUR HOLIDAY.....I THINK NOT!!

My husband and I are currently stranded in Hong Kong thanks to TIF group. I’ve been hospitalised but luckily am out now, have been given a fit to fly letter, medical report and discharge paperwork but it’s not good enough for them as it doesn’t have any diagnosis further than abdominal pain. I’ve since been back to the hospital for another fit to fly letter and they still won’t accept it. Virgin Atlantic (our airline) are happy to accept this as this is all they need but no, not good enough for TIF. We were meant to be on a tour of Asia so we don’t even have flights home from here, they are from shanghai in over a week. We are literally stranded here.
Yesterday the agent (Bradley) told me I didn’t have any medication (wrong) and then told me I didn’t have any medication to help, only to mask pain... I’m not sure of his medical training to make this statement? I appear to have a different understanding of antibiotics.
TIF tried today to force me to have a Gastroscopy which is completely unnecessary, the hospital who admitted me didn’t think it was needed so why would the insurance company be undermining the hospital like this? Procedures like this are not without risk so why would I need this when I’m feeling better? I believe tif are trying to put barriers in our way so we find a way to get home ourselves so they do not have to help us.
Being so far from home in a hospital where I was alone (husband could only be there for 3 hours per day), didn’t speak the language, the hospital so busy I’m on a stretcher in a room with more beds in it that it can cope with, I was quite honestly terrified. And if that wasn’t bad enough, I have no idea when or how I’m ever going to get home.
You pay money for travel Insurance to help you when you’re half way around the world and this is the way they treat you? Disgraceful. They are supposed to be helpful, supportive and easing my worries. Nothing could be further than what awful treatment I’m having from TIF.
It’s now been 24 hours since we spoke to anyone at the emergency team. They’ve not replied to any emails or called us back. How is this acceptable from the emergency team?!?!
Have been in contact with the press back home. Please I urge you, DO NOT BOOK INSURANCE WITH THIS COMPANY.

Hell, we write from VITTA CLINIC , Peru . We had 04 patients , that was hospitalized in our Clinic . All of them was from UK this " Insurance Company " sent the Guarantee Letter of payment , but they never paid , the did not answer the mails that we sent. This is the same condition with all the Clinics in Cusco , Lima or Arequipa or other city of our Country , nobody accept this Company , finally the patients have to go to Publics Hospital .
That is the reazon the I never recomended this Company. , don¨t buy this Policy .

If I could score less I would. I put in a medical claim last year... I'm still waiting. I've been asked numerous times for the same information and have been continually chasing them. Terrible company, I would recommend avoiding at all costs.
