I am deeply dissatisfied with this company’s handling of my claim. After paying extra for a loss policy, they denied coverage for my lost phone, stating it wasn’t included. Their customer service was unresponsive and unhelpful. I strongly advise others to avoid this company, as they do not honor their policies.

Used to be fresh cover Insurance - renamed to rip more people off i guess. Absolute toilet - do not use - they do not honor anything. waste of time and money, thank god it was only a phone on cover not a home!!!

Absolutely appalling service! Impossible to speak with someone! I've been without a phone for 3 months! Every automated email response says they will get back to you within 15 working days - they don't! Deliberately sending us round in circles to obtain fictitious documents/information just to avoid paying out!!! Avoid at all costs!!!

Tinhat have responded to my review providing a phone number which doesn't get answered and an email address still telling me to wait a further 7 WORKING DAYS! I've been without a phone since October! We're rapidly approaching February, I'm not sure anyone at your company is working ANY DAYS!

It's Monday 6th February. I still don't have a phone. I've still not physically spoken to anyone as the phone never gets answered!! I got an email saying something about 're opening my case!!! I've no idea why it would need to be reopened as it should NEVER have been closed considering I've had no contact or resolution!! This company is honestly the worst I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with! They just ignore and ignore and hope that you give up and go away - all the while collecting their monthly premium. Absolutely disgusting!

Took out insurance after purchasing a new phone. I used to have it with my bank but I’ve since changed account. Managed to drive off with my phone on the roof of the car after six weeks, so I was relieved I took out insurance. That was 9 days ago, I tried calling to make a claim but after 1 hour on hold gave up and emailed the claims team. Had a call back 5 days later, asking for some proof of purchase and proof of usage from my service provider, which I supplied within an hour. Three days later not heard a thing and I’ve just been on hold for over 30 minutes, and have now been told the claim cannot progress until I remove the iCloud from my phone. I can then pay the excess and post it off, however it can take 7 working days to repair. Maybe having had insurance with my bank I’m expecting too much but after 9 days, 2 hours on the phone to them, be told I would be without a phone for over a week in today’s world seems crazy. It’s more expensive than I was paying with my bank and a million times worse. Should have done more research before taking out this policy.

Excellent company. So quick and easy to complete online. Took me no more than 2 minutes. They gave me a discount for being a veteran but was cheaper than all the competition I had looked at without that discount and with a high level of cover. Highly recommend them. Thanks for supporting the troops too.

Very dissapointing.
I've sent my phone for a display and back glass replacement 10 days ago. I was advised it will take 3-5 working days depending on availability of parts but not longer than 7. I keep calling the insurance staff to fast track the repair because I am due to travel abroad this weekend and need my phone. I was advised the parts arrived and they are treating my claim as a priority but when i contacted again for feedback they delayed me again and after did not even reply to my emails.
I do not feel I was respected and supported as a customer.

Terrible service, wouldn't trust. Recently made a claim and process was terrible. Started relatively well and received a replacement within 10 days (still quite long but not the end of the world). However this replacement phone didnt work.
Then it started to go down hill, as once I sent the broken replacement back, I was it would take 2 weeks to receive a new working one, which they were going to send to the wrong address. They had no tracking information so weren't able to tell me why I hadn't received my phone when I should have. Called for the next three days asking for any news or if they could get the tracking info, heard nothing. Requested three times a call back from a manager. Again nothing.
Told a week after my phone was supposed to be delivered it was going to be delivered in a few days, I then received it the next day (and to the right address!).

They clearly have no idea of what's going on and don't care about customer service. I would look elsewhere or pay an extra £1 a month for a better service
