Turney & Associates were great for finding the best mortgage deal, but not so great for recommendations of insurance, legal representatives, etc. Pretty much every quote that came through for such things was either overpriced or from a poorly-reviewed provider, so I chose to sort them myself instead.

5 stars for mortgage services, minus one star for poor recommendations on other things.

Made enquiries with the company for a mortgage, hadn’t made any offers but wanted to know how much we could borrow. Did not sign any agreements but then found a house and asked Chris if we could get a mortgage for the amount. A few emails back and forth then received an autogenerated email saying he was on holiday and his email would be monitored. Office was then closed over the weekend and other people were interested in the house we wanted. Had to find another advisor who was open over the weekend so we could proceed with the offer. We then received an email from Nicky Monday morning saying she would take over Chris’ load. I explained we had to go with another broker as no handover had been given and we had no idea that someone would be taking over as we were under the impression we wouldn’t hear anything until Chris’ return from holiday. After refusing to pay the fee of 995 as no contracts had been signed (not even electronically) the company then took us to small claims court for £995 fee + costs. Due to the stress the other factors the house we wanted fell through and we still ended up paying for NOT using their services. Absolutely disgraceful. I chose this company as Chris seems so genuine and lovely. Unfortunately wolves in sheep’s clothes. I will be taking this to the FCA and financial ombudsman. Just be cautious with this company.

Great service as always!! We received early notification that our fixed rate mortgage deal was coming to an end. Updates along the way meant that we got the best rate for our new deal. Everything was handled by Turney and Associates, we just had to sign the paperwork. Highly recommended.
