AVOID!!! THEY DO NOT CARE. NEVER AGAIN!!
Neighbours damaged my house with a serious fire. I was made to claim from MY? house insurance and had to pay an excess to do so. Neighbours fire damaged my garden contents which were not covered in my policy. BUT This damage all caused by neighbours fire but this cost me £1000.00 approx. I tried to get Urban Jungle to reclaim my costs BUT they were not interested. I reported to ombudsman too but got no where. Want cost effective!!
How can a fire from my neighbours property that damages my property mean I’m at a £1000.00 loss!!!!!
AVOID REALLY UNHAPPY WITH Urban Jungle.

Another one star wishing I could leave less review. My wheelchair was accidentally broken. The cable sparked on the metal part of the wheelchair. I called UJ as I’ve been paying for years I thought I could give all my evidence and it would be easier than it has been. I keep correcting them that this is not a scooter this is a wheelchair meaning I cannot go out without it. They have no sense of care no understanding of what this means. Keep calling it a scooter now I’ve been told to go to a ‘mobility scooter repair place’ that is near me to assess the damage to send back to them. Let me ask you UJ how am I meant to get to the place when I am in a wheelchair? I don’t drive my brother can usually drive me but he has a broken foot. I cannot get to this place. I just wish your company would THINK a little before you send your blanket statements out. I have paid my money in for like everyone else emergencies like this, but now it’s like well we are gonna need every inch of evidence before we dip into the money that we’ve injected back into our own pockets. Jesus.

I've been invited to say what I think of Urban Jungle insurance. The truth is, I honestly have no criteria to work with other than I got a very good deal with them for my car insurance. Fortunatley, or not, I haven't had to call on them to deal with any issues. So i won't know until that happens. I just hope I get as good a deal when my car comes up for renewal (hint hint)

Easy to use website, with a few clicks you can add/remove to your policy which automatically adjusts and shows what you'll pay, only company I found that suited my needs perfectly and highly recommend.

Substandard product and service. They made leaving ridiculously hard but thankfully at least I didnt need to claim. I've now gone elsewhere with a far superior policy

The one time i need to rely on my insurer to deal with a house leak has left me even more stressed. Ive found the claim process frustrating, slow and uncooperative. It’s difficult to get timeley responses from ‘claims consortium group’, and im chasing them up constantly for updates. I will not be renewing for another year.

I'm writing this as objectively as possible. This company is not an insurer, but rather a simple tech firm with a website that funnels people towards it's subcontractor 'The Claims Consortium Group' which, should you ever have to claim, is near impossible.

During our claim in which involved a drug dealer crashing into our house and damaging our front wall, it took over 10 months for this organisation and it's subcontractors to send us a damage report.

The service was so poor that I ended up writing to the regulator who had to intervene, and it was only then that our claim began to see movement.

The fact this company is allowed to operate in the UK is a disgrace and I would advise anyone currently with them for the cheap rate to switch.

Incidentally, the criminal who caused damage to our home was released before a single tradesperson started repair work.

Their system bug cancelled my policy rather than the auto renewal and they refused to reinstate it. Had to purchase a new policy elsewhere. When they finally acknowledged their error, they still refuse to refund the remaining time on my policy. They say they are a company fair to their customers and just following standard procedures, even when their error has cost me money. Awful customer service and communication

*In reply to the response below

If you reached out to offer to reinstate the policy, why did I get this email from your company?
“It isn't possible to reinstate policies once they've been cancelled. You can check if you're able to take out the same policy (with a different policy number) on our website”
So at what point would I think I was still covered? Surely it’s obvious why I had to purchase another policy after that email?
To later change the decision and say, actually we can reinstate, after I purchased another policy is clearly too late. But you still won’t refund my loss of money.
I replied and asked for Adriana to contact me, no response weeks later
