INITIAL REVIEW: This company need to be arrested for harassment. Quoted a year ago and all of a sudden I’m called twice a day despite being asked to be removed from their list.

I'm absolutely happy with the customer service we received when we exported our van and had to cancel the insurance. No hidden extortionate charges, everything was transparent and straightforward, we received a refund and our insurance was cancelled in a very appropriate and prompt manner.

Fantastic when they are selling to you. Then you get a lot of spam phone calls trying to upsell during the policy, but that's ok, I get it.

I bought a second vehicle and insured it through these guys... great. But when I came to cancel the insurance on the first vehicle, they wanted £45 (again, that's ok), but also 15% percent of the policy's value!!!!!!!

This is my second vehicle and second year I've been a customer. I will never use this company again.

There are company's out there that value your custom, but this is not one of them.

Used the website to find quotes. The second I submitted my details I received a call from a scam number. I then received six calls from different scam numbers over the course of a few hours.

Thank you for your response and for removing my number promptly, it's appreciated.

Unfortunately my phone identified the numbers as 'potential fraud' (except one) and googling some of the numbers heralded the same response. Just not worth the risk.

Hopefully you can see that being pelted with several differing numbers within such a short amount of time can lead to suspicion and lack of trust.

What a great service. I spoke to the nicest lady on the phone today. She couldn’t be more helpful. Her name was Elize and she needs a shout out for being so lovely. I even got 3 call backs to make sure I’m okay. Well done.

If I could give zero stars I would. Got a great online price, paid deposit and then got a call to run through my details. Rude, abnoxious lad totally confused me, put words into my mouth and started questioning me like I was under integration. Awful experience ? Never again. Fast enough to take the payment, now fighting to get it back disgusting ?

I used the van compare website to get a quote for our van - the options shown turned out to be a lot more expensive than what we had already been quoted so I didn't go any further. That was 21 hours ago... in that time I have received 18 calls from Van Compare, all through the work day. I even put down not to contact me by phone as an option before getting the quote!

Lots of people on here saying how they have been kept on hold for silly amounts of time by customer service... most likely because they are busy fishing for new customers instead of looking after their current ones!

Very much regret using them and won't be doing it again

Very disappointing.
Good price online after that they call you and put the price up.
I sold the van and when I asked for cancellation they ripped me off. The cancellation costs more than one month of insurance.
Communication not clear and tried to take money from my account without authorisation.
Shame that companies like this are allowed to trade
