Vitality dealt with my query swiftly and with no hassle. Loved how I could just chat to someone on what’s app to resolve rather then sending emails back and forth or waiting on a call.
Thank you for understanding and resolving the issue.

1. Family member had to do a follow up procedure 6 months after due to a cancerous growth being found. Vitality told they cannot authorize procedure as only 6 months have passed and come back when he actually develops a cancer. Never provided conversation transcript as requested.

2. My 2 months old oxygen level dropped to 86 at night and despite 2 letters from GP suggesting paediatric consultation, vitality deemed oxygen level adequate and did not authorize a procedure.

I can provide many more examples where this insurer acted not in the best interest of their client, but I am afraid it will result in a long essay.

Excellent customer service from Vitality! I lost my access to Headspace for no obvious reason. I contacted them via Messenger and they resolved my problem on the first attempt. Thanks for enabling my guided meditation again Vitality Team! Fantastic tech support!

Avoid this company at ALL COSTS.

This is without a doubt the worst insurance company I've ever joined. Basically, they don't honor their own policy and terms. I'd say it's abit like getting blood from a stone. And don't believe the bits about them following-up on complaints - they do NOT follow up at all. I've not heard back from one rep since I've filed my complaints. Doubtless, someone will respond to this 1 star rating because it 'makes it look like' they respond to complaints.
TRUST me - they do not. It's just a game for them - absolutely no way of holding them accountable. And what does the FCA do again?
I've wasted three (3) months waiting (they're more then happy to take my money over this period of time) for a claim to be approved - this is depite me giving them every records and piece of information I have. Honestly, I do not understand how companies get away with this way of doing business. Apparenly, they have to rob a bank before the FCA bothers. They can rip off as many 'small guys' as they like. No accountability - none.

Millie is outstanding via wastapp. Though waiting does take sometime someone will eventually reach out. I do miss talking to a human though the automated call center that is voice activated is not great for more technical problems like I had to merge policies under one profile. But let’s see in +\- 5 days if the merger has been completed.

Vitality is an unusual health insurance company that seems to have figured out that a healthy customer costs less. Cleverly levering competitive spirit via a points system and offering small rewards and health checks; they have got me into a gym for the first time (at 76!), which has improved my overall fitness. I haven’t used the insurance at all but the coverage looks very good. To be verified when needed. It takes some cunning to find a human to ask a question, but when I did Lewis was helpful. I definitely recommend Vitality Health. It’s all clever and I am delighted.

This health insurance provider is so bad, I’m convinced their business model is just a glorified escape room—except there’s no way out, and instead of a prize, you get chronic pain. Want to see a physio? Good luck! By the time you navigate their Kafkaesque booking process, your injury will have evolved into a permanent lifestyle choice.

Their app is an abomination, designed by someone who clearly hates both technology and people. And if you ever dare to call them, be prepared to age in real-time while listening to hold music that sounds like a funeral for your sanity. Eventually, you’ll need therapy just to recover from dealing with them—but wait! That’s another bureaucratic nightmare, trapping you in an infinite loop of suffering.

At this point, I’m not even mad. I’m just impressed by their dedication to making their treatments completely inaccessible.

The WhatsApp chat allowed me to resolve an issue with points not being picked up. It would be good if this wasn’t a regular issue and if the report form had worked, but these seem to have gone missing too!
Generally very happy with Vitality, but do have to track points carefully as the App is very temperamental
