My experience: I called to book a viewing. I was told I will get a confirmation email, it didn't happen. I sent a message asking for a confirmation and received no response. A few days later, I finally received a phone call just a couple of hours short of the viewing time. I have a job and live outside of Nottingham, how do you expect me to make it on time? Be serious.

Dear landlords, your apartments might be lovely and well maintained but tenants look for responsive and reliable professionals who are capable of providing quality support throughout the tenancy. I don't find the quality of service acceptable and I won't risk signing a tenancy agreement with Walton & Allen. No matter how much of a deal your apartment might appear to be, I won't be renting with this agent.

My daughter had just bought her first in Nottingham when after 10 days the hot water failed. Not knowing any trades people in the area we reached out to Polly Rayson as Walton & Alllen had been the agents for the sale. She was able to recommend a local company who sent an electrician that afternoon! Job done by 5:30pm, very happy daughter and relieved parents. Thanks Polly!

After calling the office several times over the last few weeks with questions about properties for sale, no-one has ever got back to me. When I've called, the sales team haven't been available. I wouldn't sell with them if that's how prospective buyers are dealt with.

I had an unfortunate experience

The heating system was a disaster.
The bathroom sink was constantly clogged.
The toilet had no water flow.
Hot water was a luxury I couldn't afford.
The refrigerator acted like it was on vacation.
My laundry suffered casualties.
The dishwasher seemed to have given up on life.
The bed was a haven for germs and filth.
The fire sensor was on a mission to disrupt my sanity every 10 seconds.
The service and communication from the estate agent were beyond terrible. Despite reporting these issues, they displayed a stunning lack of urgency or competence. I paid the full rent upfront only to endure these problems for over 15 agonizing days during winter. Attempting to communicate with the management was like talking to a brick wall.

In a stunning display of ineptitude, when I complained about the lack of hot water, their brilliant suggestion was to use a kettle for a makeshift shower – a half-idiotic solution to cap off the complete failure of The Walton estate agent.

This is hands down the worst estate agent I've ever dealt with. If you value your sanity and comfort, steer clear of The Pavilion and its laughably inept management.
