This woman named Bailey from Wealth Recovery has been calling my 80 year old father since October of last year 2024- telling him he has over $100000 in bitcoin that she can help him retrieve. He has never bought bitcoin but he believes another investor he was working with may have. She calls him daily, spending hours chatting- asking about his family and how he celebrates holidays. Last January he actually sent $5000 in two e-transfers to 2 emails which had the name Gerald attached to them. We immediately got the RCMP involved. They confirmed that e-transfers can only be accepted by a Canadian account- this company is supposed to be based in the UK. About a week later the money was refunded back to my dad. Now 2 months later, she’s calling him again, claiming she’s so hurt and offended he would think of her as a fraud…. It’s just disgusting. She’s trying to show that she’s trustworthy- I got on the phone and told her to get bent and lose this number. Do you know if any wealth advisors that spend 2-3 hours a day chatting within senior clients about life? Total scam. I hung up on her only for her to immediately call back. They won’t stop. I will add that she had my dad install some type of screen mirroring app on his phone and laptop so they could watch what he was doing - enter passwords and view his accounts.

I put a review on a Trust pilot of my honest experience with WRS which wasn't the best- in which their communication to me all but disappeared at one point and despite paying £5,000 I lost the case, obviously that wasn't their fault but their communication was poor. The person who was looking at my case seemed to leave the company and I was getting no replies to my emails. I gave them an average review score there for this.

WRS via Trustpilot then asked me for more information about my experience which I provided.

They then flagged to Trustpilot that my review was fake, which is obviously dishonest, and quite frankly shocking. Because of this shyster level behaviour, I have no choice but to give them 1* here.

I personally wouldn't trust any company that fraudulently and dishonestly deletes reviews it does not like.

I made an enquiry last year 2023 and they wanted upfront fees I am unsure whether they are regulated I believe WRS are based abroad with one office in Manchester. They do accept or agree on no win no fee basis unable to comment on whether the other reviews can be verified as genuine.

My one star as they on both occasions wanted a lot of fees upfront.
