Although the call center ladies are very friendly, the systems are very much tailored for the older population who are not wanting to use technology. There is such reliance on snail-mail; using the correct coloured form and refunds are only made by cheque... in 2024 they are still only testing the possibility of BACS refunds. The refund system is exceptionally slow and the monthly premium vs. What is claimable I find as a younger member of society (being 40 with a young family) that this is not value for money at all and the hassle of having to deal with WHA is exceptionally frustrating, time consuming and overall exhausting! This may be the better option for those who have the rime (and patience) yo work in the old-ages when technology wasn't available. After 8years of "giving them another go", it's time for us to move on.

I have put 3 forms in in a year dental ect everyone had been sent back .Want except a receipt from your bank card now need a write letter, it goes on and one ,I have paided wha for 50 yrs ,I have never know anything like this ,it's like your are doing something illegal when you have a stamped form a signature off a consultant .

Having been with WHA since for 35 years ( since birth) I can say that they been brilliant having been unfortunate to have a lot of ill health as well as routine claims for dental, opticians, osteopath I have had fast payments each time and my premium has never risen. They are one of the very few not for profit insurance providers.
