Excellent store with bathroom selections and taps. Always a deal to be found for buying new fitted kitchen in their showroom. We have bought 2 kitchens from them. Finance is available which is always good APR.

Awful for a barnch of that size!!!
No trolleys, a dozen customer in shopping and only 6 trolleys!! Spent more time waiting for trolleys than shopping, Spent over £1k. 😡
People waiting for trolleys outside.
Returns policy needs to be revisited for trade customers as sometimes due to big orders and huge work it can not be returned within 30 days!

No self service, nobody at the tills, don’t they realise tradesmen need to move quick?
A woman called Lesley was awful customer service, left me hanging at the tills with no explanation, 80% of wickes branches seem to be like this. Self service would solve a lot of this.

Huge DIY warehouse with a Toolstation inside if you can't find what you want on the shelf. The only problem I have with this Wickes store is that they never have enough trolleys for large or heavy items.

Such a big store, with hardly any good workers. No one there to help you, some staff barely speak any English, others are young and don’t care with an attitude. One person on tills with a long queue. This has been going on for a while.

Worst possible place to go for anything. Such a massive store with only 2 members of staff. You have to wait 20 minutes before someone actually gives you a hand and then them not actually helping you just looking around and nodding their head.

Toolstation which is a smaller store inside had more staff.

Had everything we needed, service was poor, the cashier was using the f word with his mate across the floor whilst serving us, we had children with us, this behaviour seemed very natural. It was a big muscle guy from the African decent. I understand its wicks and you always serving builders ect so I can expect it wont be the typical sir/madam service, but should atleast acknowledge customers. Guess service is not as important these days.

Absolute waste of time. We had a very disappointing experience. The design consultant Ben Ceaser Oti failed to take accurate measurements of our bathroom, which led to a completely inaccurate plan. We proceeded with financing based on the initial proposal, trusting that everything was correctly assessed. Later, we found out that essential items were not included in the cost estimate, and the total was significantly off. As a result, we had no choice but to cancel the entire project. This caused a lot of unnecessary stress and wasted time. We expected much more professionalism and attention to detail.

I bought a kitchen unit one of them has missing parts but they are not replacing or refunding for no solid reason, order from other shop than barking avoid this shop

I have called suport from last week to arrange replacement was keep postponing and support said shop say not replace because assembled
Without parts how can we assembled ? They said we opened if we dont open how do we know its missing part?
Even amazon I probably already finish return and refund and order another one. This is the third kitchen I ordered from wickes barking this is first time need to replace, but their service this time is so ridiculous

Order from other shops than here

I spent weeks keep calling customer service try to get this done

Absolute shambles of a DIY wholesalers, Poor customer service & even worse "apparent" policies. The manager is absolutely useless.

Tried to return an unused tarpaulin, still in unused packaging as it was too small & literally had a 10min trade off with the shift manager about policies as I only have a photo of the receipt which I've attached.

I suggested I'll exchange for something else & he replied with then my "stock" be wrong until I walked out.

I even suggested turning the photo to a PDF so he can actually scan it & he said there is nothing I can do for you unless you get me the physical receipt.

My receipts are filed weekly & are not on my person as have photos for real business who can deal with issues that come up.

I shall only frequent here for Toolstation where the staff are friendly & helpful with great customer service. And to walk my dog in their car park whilst being in Toolstation.
