Kirsty was amazing! Genuinely helpful, expert, personalised advice. She worked hard to suit everything to our needs, right down to when/where we met. At no point did I feel she was trying to make money off us and she even went as far as suggesting we hold off certain investments until (if/when) other things we discussed were confirmed. We had got bored with looking after our investments and, although I knew we had some money, I had no idea exactly how much or if I could afford to buy something I wanted.
Kirsty came to see us both and we had a long discussion about what we wanted from our investments and how much risk we were prepared to take. We talked about the importance of keeping a cash reserve and putting money aside for planned expenditure.
I am now confident that not only will we have enough money to live on in our retirement but we also have an income which exceeds our current level of expenditure. This has given us the choice of spending more on things I had previously considered to be luxuries or supporting children and grandchildren or even helping some favourite charities.
