Positive experience! on a flight back from Dublin had my clubs damaged and some even missing, i went through the process that did take a while and some chasing up, however i was paid out roughly 80% of what i asked for which i was happy with.
Ive had bad experience with insurance companies but not this time, if you send over all the pictures and get the quotes they ask for it works. Took a month overall and only 2 days to be paid once claim was valid.

Thankfully haven't had to go down the claim route yet so can't give 5* until then but was impressed by a phone call yesterday changing my policy on renewal as well as adding in a referral that was forgotten during a friend's new policy. Golf Care, purchasing insurance is very easy. Piece of advice never put a claim in as they have an Insurance Group called Davies Group, who go out of their way to be obstructive and unhelpful. They ask for more additional information and then reject your claim. My Driver was accidentally damaged, during play ,they did not cover it. It’s like insurance with the magic circle, because your chances of replacement or repair will disappear. No magic wand required! ” Bernard Gallagher” says on their phone introduction “ Golf Care we have got you covered” . An absolute joke, avoid like the plague!

Please do not waste your time or money on this sham of a company, I had my car broken into and full golf bag taken but the company has refused my claim after giving sufficient evidence, they will just take your money happily but when yoy need them they snake out of paying, avoid at all costs

Appalling service. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

Took three months to pay out for a lost laser range finder when I'd provided all the information they needed.

I didn't get responses to emails and it wasn't until I complained and threatened to go to the Ombudsman that they finally emailed me to say they would settle.

I will not renew with this shower.

1 star is to much for this company. I recently went to turkey for golf and when I returned I’m golf bag had a rip in it. I called golf care who said in need to contact stanstead airport which is near impossible so I called back and the lady on the phone said we can’t do nothing until then which is an absolute joke as I’m going round and round in circles. All I would say is avoid avoid

Online chat fails to work. Golf bag damaged by mice not covered. Surely if its damaged its damaged regardless of how.? Will not be renewing policy

Dont bother referring friends.
I referred a friend in January 2024.
I received an email on 5th Feb to say that they would send my free golf balls.
Ive emailed them and rang up and Golfcare reply was it takes 28 days to receive them.
Today is 18th March and still I havent received them.
Got intouch again and Golfcare said they will send out another box of balls but will still take another 28 days.
So DONT BOTHER REFERRING ANYBODY
