Having been left massively in debt following a bad relationship and time in life, and following a bad experience with another debt company who only added to the debts, The Debt Advisor Ltd saved me from a bigger mess. Got me back on a level footing financially and supported me so well during the process. When issues arose, such as needing a replacement car to just get to work, they worked with me to get this done within my budgets.

My IVA is now over and my financial life is back on track.

There is nothing I could fault about this company. The time, consideration, care put into assisting someone in need of help was 5*. You were never made to feel stupid, or belittled, they called, checked in on you and helped you when you had no where else to go. After a very rocky 2024, 2025 has never looked better and I can breath a sigh of relief. Paul was absolute fantastic from start to finish! Also a very kind shout out to Kim as well for all your help.

Absolute embarrassment of a company do not do this. Set up direct debits with creditors they charge you a stupid amount to send your own money out! I have had a 7 grand dept since December go down about 400 pounds after putting about 1 and a half grand into it. stay clear

Been meaning to write this since april 2024 when set up my DMP. Was falling badly into a hole to the point I was getting more amd more debt due to my total repayments being out of hand and was left with minimal and then more debt just to even make ends meet. When it got to my worst My income at work was lower than my outcome then I panicked and didn't know what to do. Someone suggested The debt advisors and it has helped me massively and did not know they even existed. Richard was great help to me though the process in helping me get back on track!

I got in contact with them just to see if it would be possible to help me. The lady i got was fantastic she explained everything to me in "simple talk " so i could understand what would happen. She did the short survey calculated what i need and together we sorted out what i could afford to pay. The relief i felt was undeniable i kept my cards for a week or two then disposed of them i will be debt free in two years. PLEASE dont hesitate if your like me get in touch NOW you wont regret it

Initially they were helpful with setting up my DMP. As time went on I realised that wasn't the right path to go down, so I asked for help in applying for an IVA. The response I had, was that a creditor 'categorically' does not accept IVAs from them so they won't be attempting, leaving me with no options.

I then went to another IVA practioner who took my case on with ease and got my IVA accepted, that creditors accepted the proposal at the creditors meeting.

I would not recommend this company, because it came across as lazy when they told me they won't be attempting it, despite that creditor being under 15% of my total debt.

2024 was not a great year for my self. Money worries as other problems, I called the debt advisor to help me, well all I can say is they have helped me turn my life around, All my creditors have been contacted, interested Frozen, one monthly payment, And one more thing they actually care. I had a senior manager called Paul ring me asking about my well being, basically seeing how my mental health is , And he told me he is always on the phone for a chat. Calls like that mean a hell of a lot to me, It put a smile 😃 on my face, Fair play to you all at the debt advisor, I can,t recommend this company anuff if you need help with your debt,
